Your blog design is unique among the rest of the class and looks great, Kylie! i like the wood in the background and the black text boxes. The grey colour for the date font is hard for me to see. Choosing a colour with more contrast would make viewing it easier.
Perhaps you could opt for a lighter color of text or at least one that contrasts more with the fence background. Pretty good though.
